Fall is my favorite season for sure (birthday season!), so every fall I try to make a fun “bucket list” of fall activities to make the most of the season!
Fall Activity 1: Apple Picking
My absolute favorite of all the fall activities is apple picking! Cliche, I know but it’s always so much fun! This year we went to Lakeland Orchard & Cidery, about an hour and twenty minutes away from our house in Bloomsburg!
I love to get apples for eating, and a few for baking and Lakeland made this so easy by labelling all of the rows in the orchard with what each apple was best for! They had so many more activities as well, and it was definitely a family friendly environment!
Fall Activity 2: Axe Throwing
At the cidery, they had an axe throwing area and M and I decided that we wanted to try it! Well, that was a mistake because I’m so freaking good at it! I’m obsessed now. Thankfully there’s a place in town we can go, but M was seriously impressed with my natural talent at this cool new trendy sport! Definitely going to be adding axe throwing into my life a little more now!
Fall Activity 3: Fun Fall Drinks
Y’all know I love a good seasonal drink! One of my favorite fall activities is cooking a nice meal (soup season anyone?), and having a fun fall drink! We drank some great cider at the orchard, I even got some to bring home! Last year I made a fall-perol spritz (an aperol spritz with apple cider) and it was so good! This year, I want to master an apple cider margarita and Katie’s Bliss has a recipe I cant wait to try!
Fall Activity 4: Pumpkin Picking
Thankfully, the orchard we went to this year had pumpkins already picked so we just picked up a couple there, but I do love spending an afternoon in the pumpkin patch trying to find the perfect pumpkin. Last year I only got a little guy since we were moving but this year we got a couple large ones and might even carve them in a couple of weeks!
