"Norton Gnocchi"
This creamy tomato sauce with gnocchi and Italian sausage is a comfort food classic that can be made in only one pot!

Ingredients

Italian Sausage
spicy or mild, depending on preference
1/2
small white onion
chopped
4
cloves
garlic
chopped

red wine

oz.
can diced tomatoes with juices

cup
heavy cream
1.5

gnocchi
1/2
cup
Parmesan
Salt and pepper
to taste
Instructions
Take sausage out of the casing, or cut into bite sized pieces.
Sauté sausage and onion on medium high heat until sausage is browned and onion is translucent.
Add garlic to the pan and cook until fragrant.
Add wine and cook for a minute.
Stir in tomatoes, heavy cream and the gnocchi. Once pot starts to simmer, reduce heat to medium, cover and cook for 5 minutes.
Uncover the pot, stir and cook for a few more minutes until gnocchi is cooked through and the sauce has thickened a bit.
Take off heat and stir in the parmesan and add salt and pepper to taste.
Serve immediately.
Notes
Tear some basil and add on top for a little extra color and flavor!
